Application area
Drawframe, comber and lap-preparation drafting systems in short-staple spinning. Top rollers are supplied model-wise: arbor dimensions, cot size, bearing/end-bush type and loading arrangement differ across drawframe generations, so the machine model and position (front, middle, back) are confirmed for every enquiry.
What Vaamana checks before supply
- Arbor dimensions and end-bush seats against the machine model
- End bush bore/outer tolerances and material
- Assembly runout at the cot surface
- Cot hardness and surface condition (where supplied with cots)
- Freedom of rotation under load — no tight spots or play

Common failure symptoms

Frequently asked questions
Do you supply end bushes separately from top rollers?
Yes. End bushes are supplied as replacement items where the arbor is sound. The bush is matched to the arbor seat and the machine's loading system; where seats are worn, we advise on repair sizes rather than fitting a standard bush over a worn seat.

Common drawframe, comber and lap-former platforms found in Indian and export-market mills — see the model-wise pages for the current list. For models not listed, share the machine model and roller position and we confirm feasibility from dimensions or a sample.
